Acupressure or Tui Na (推拿)

Acupressure is a Chinese Medicine technique similar in principle to traditional acupuncture. During the treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points (acupressure) or acupuncture meridian (Tui Na 推拿)

Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices.

It is commonly used for:

  • Morning sickness / nausea and vomiting

  • Lower back pain

  • Tension headaches

  • Stomach ache

In China, this method is the most popular Chinese medicine therapeutic method for helping children, especially for Children under seven.
