Bound To Heal:

I'm so excited to share that the first chapter of my memoir is going live today! And just to add to the excitement, it actually got a professional review of four stars. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!

Bound To Heal is the true journey of Dr Feng Zhi Scott/Chao shaped not by ambition, but by alignment. Every unlikely turn brought her closer to a truth waiting patiently to be found.

Bescription

She arrived in London with just $160 in her pocket, no English, and no one waiting for her. Not a friend. Not a family member. No one met her at the airport. No one even knew she had landed.

It was only the second city she had ever been to in her life.

As a teenager in Beijing, she had secretly slipped into barefoot doctor classes. Years later, she became a surgeon, then earned a PhD in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Along the way, she discovered how to unite Eastern and Western healing—fusing instinct with precision, and ancient wisdom with modern science.

But her most powerful discovery came not in a hospital or lab, but while quietly tracing the roots of her own story—roots that reached further than she ever imagined.

At the heart of it all is a question few ever get to answer:What if the path you’ve been walking… was walked for you?

About the Author

Dr. Feng Zhi Scott has lived more lives than most people have chapters in a book.

At eleven, she gave her first acupuncture treatment—untrained, but unmistakably called.

She went on to become a barefoot doctor, a surgeon, and later, earned her PhD in cardiovascular pharmacology at the University of Edinburgh.

She didn’t do all this to impress anyone.

She did it because healing made sense to her—more than anything else.

Now based in the UK, she combines Chinese medicine with Western science, teaching doctors how to bring the best of both worlds into practice. She also created the One Minute Diet Law, a simple, brilliant way to keep your body in sync with nature—and possibly, avoid a few expensive visits to the clinic.

She wrote this book not to tell you how amazing her life has been,

but to say:

If I made it through all this… you can too.
